Shipping – Canada Post Lockout

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

It seems for now Canada Post is back moving in the full swing of things. We are shipping as per the normal, but know we are keeping close watch on this and if you place an order we’ll will do everything we can to make sure it arrives as it should. We don’t want your wonderful gifts to yourselves and others getting the fun taking out of it because of Canada Post. Shop away!!!!

With the potential looming of Canada Post workers being locked out on July 2nd, giving June 30th as the last day for deliveries, we have taken the steps to make sure your packages do not get stuck in limbo while they work everything out. As you can imagine this has a HUGE effect on our online shop and being able to offer our free shipping services.

As of June 24th we are not longer sending packages out through Canada Post and they are being held back until July 4th while we wait and see how things unfold. Orders have been flying out the door up until this point to make sure they arrive in time, however any packages where customers have slightly longer service will be or have been contacted in order to decide the next best step on their shipments.

If Canada Post does go on strike we sadly will not be able to offer our free shipping services, but have put measures in place to make sure you can still enjoy our amazing products. We will be offering courier service for a flat rate of $12 across the provinces and $20 to the territories. Basically we are splitting the courier service costs to lessen the blow of this hiccup in shipping.

We realize this is not the best scenario for single purchase items like a tees at $32, but for any larger orders it works out to be a good alternative and hey it will likely arrive much faster as well. 🙂

All courier service will be through Purolator if it does happen. If you do place an order during this time and are normally away during the day I would recommend using a business address for the packages to be shipped to. Might be an easier option instead of having to pick up at one of the Purolator depots.

Please email me if you have any questions at all about this. I am happy to help. Fingers crossed for myself and all my other small business friends none of this actually happens as it is a way of life and income for many of us. Just have to hold tight and wait for the next week to see and hopefully everything is back to normal asap.

Have a great week everyone!!!
