Last Chance for Summer Dresses

This is your last chance to grab yourself one of our super comfortable bamboo / cotton dresses!!!! We are almost sold out, which came at a bit of a surprise to me how early that happened, so I tip my hat to you. Thank you!

We are off to Calgary Folk Festival this weekend and basically what is left will be packed up and heading there, so grab them while you can.

Shipping as always is free on dresses and at only $42 for a locally sewn in Alberta dress, how do you go wrong? Every last one, as always, is silk screened by hand too.

Hope if you wanted one you were able to grab one and if not we will have our new tee dresses coming middle of Sept, so watch for those. If you want a sneak peak I posted my sample dresses we are currently tweaking a few weeks ago.

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

New Clutches are Here

Pretty excited to show you our brand new clutches that I just released. How fun are these! I had many requests for something not only with a strap like our totes, but also with a zippered top. So you asked and I delivered.

All of the fabric on these I of course silk screened by hand and everything is sewn locally here in Alberta as well. Got to love that!

Now the bad news. Our first batch I released and before I could even post this was sold out. Now the good news! I have more coming in the next week. So watch for those to hit the online shop. They are priced at $48 each and sadly there is a small shipping charge as they are just a bit to thick to go as regular mail, but hey you get tracking with the order so that is a nice bonus.

Watch for these and snatch one up before I have to bare the bad news yet again. Happy you guys are all loving them though.

Get outside today … even if it is raining!

Locally Sewn Tank Tops

Many of you might be aware, but I’ve been working hard over here to have my full line transitioned over to being 100% sewn locally. If you are not aware this post is for you!

In the past we would purchase blank tank tops, don’t worry they were still all ethically made and sweat shop free, I wouldn’t have it any other way. All the fabric was milled and sewn in the US, however that just wasn’t good enough for me with my growing passion for products being made locally.

Over the past 3 years many countless hours have been put into transitioning our higher volume selling items over as well. Our scarves and leggings have always been sewn locally. The dresses where a big success in transitioning them over 2 years ago and our long sleeves were transitioned this past February, but now it was time for the tank tops.

In June we released our first style and a few weeks ago our racer backs came out too. Right now you will see some of the products in our online shop, but hope to have all of the options available to you on July 20th so you can help support this local and ethically made line of tank tops.

I’m very proud of all the hard work that has gone into making this happen and if it wasn’t for each and every one of your coming out and supporting none of this would be happening, so thank you!

See you out there this summer!!!

ps. Long sleeves just rolled in the backdoor so watch for posts on that soon as well.

Shipping – Canada Post Lockout

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

It seems for now Canada Post is back moving in the full swing of things. We are shipping as per the normal, but know we are keeping close watch on this and if you place an order we’ll will do everything we can to make sure it arrives as it should. We don’t want your wonderful gifts to yourselves and others getting the fun taking out of it because of Canada Post. Shop away!!!!

**************** Original Post Below *****************

With the potential looming of Canada Post workers being locked out on July 2nd, giving June 30th as the last day for deliveries, we have taken the steps to make sure your packages do not get stuck in limbo while they work everything out. As you can imagine this has a HUGE effect on our online shop and being able to offer our free shipping services.

As of June 24th we are not longer sending packages out through Canada Post and they are being held back until July 4th while we wait and see how things unfold. Orders have been flying out the door up until this point to make sure they arrive in time, however any packages where customers have slightly longer service will be or have been contacted in order to decide the next best step on their shipments.

If Canada Post does go on strike we sadly will not be able to offer our free shipping services, but have put measures in place to make sure you can still enjoy our amazing products. We will be offering courier service for a flat rate of $12 across the provinces and $20 to the territories. Basically we are splitting the courier service costs to lessen the blow of this hiccup in shipping.

We realize this is not the best scenario for single purchase items like a tees at $32, but for any larger orders it works out to be a good alternative and hey it will likely arrive much faster as well. 🙂

All courier service will be through Purolator if it does happen. If you do place an order during this time and are normally away during the day I would recommend using a business address for the packages to be shipped to. Might be an easier option instead of having to pick up at one of the Purolator depots.

Please email me if you have any questions at all about this. I am happy to help. Fingers crossed for myself and all my other small business friends none of this actually happens as it is a way of life and income for many of us. Just have to hold tight and wait for the next week to see and hopefully everything is back to normal asap.

Have a great week everyone!!!

One of a Kind Setup – Spring 2016

<<<< click title for video

Well another amazing One of a Kind Show has been and gone and once again I filmed the whole setup as it is one of my biggest setups I do each year. I also filmed the tear down. It took me 17 hours to setup (with a few breaks in the middle) and only 3 hours to take it all down and hurry off to my flight home.

Hope you enjoy the video and I’ll be seeing you again at Christmas Toronto.

Please keep an eye out for my online shop and throw your support that way. All the links to my social media are below as well, so make sure to keep in touch. I love to hear from you!
